Project description: This project consists of Demolition and Space Refit on the 7th and 9th floor as well as Mechanical and Electrical upgrade on the 2nd Floor of the St Andrews Tower, 275 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario. Work is to be completed within twenty (20) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,000,001 to $5,000,000. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be an optional site visit on October 9th, 2014 at 10:00am. Interested bidders shall meet in the Main Lobby at St Andrews Tower, 275 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario. Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green patch) as well as Hard hats. Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.
