    Switchboard # 3 Replacement at the Valour Building 
    151 Sparks Street, Ottawa, Ontario 
    
    PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  
    As a result of a flood and resulting damage caused by the flood and the age of existing Switchboard  # 3 (replacement parts are unavailable) located in the Valour building, 151 Sparks Building sub-basement, main electrical room # 003, this Switchboard must be replaced with a new Switchboard. This involves the removal of the old existing low voltage Switchboard #3, 120/208V, 6000A, 3ph, 4w in the main electrical room, and it is to be replaced with a new 2000A, 120/208V, 3ph, 4w Switchboard, in the same room.
    
    Work is to be completed within twelve (12) weeks after contract award. 
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
    This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  The Contractor personnel requiring access to secure site (s) must at all times during the performance of the Contract, each hold a Valid Site Access Clearance, granted orapproved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate, Public Works and Government Services Canada. 
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
    
    There will be a site visit on March 15th, 2016 at10am.  Interested bidders are to meet at inside the front entrance of the Victoria Building at 140 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. 
    Due to the nature of the requirement and in order to gain access to the building, all bidders must submit the name (legal name) and date of birth of each individual that will be attendingthe site visit. 
    
    This information is to be submitted to the Contracting Authority by email at the following email address: martine.seguin@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than March 11th, 2016 at 12:00 p.m., as this information must be verified and confirmedthrough CISD. You will only be advised if a name is provided and CANNOT access the site visit, if no response is sent back to you, it confirms that the individual has the proper clearance to participate. 
    
    Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green patch).
