    TIME and to add the ANNEX "A" Security Requirement Check List
    (SRCL) to the solicitation document.**

    PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  R.037852.002 - Ottawa Hydro Electric
    Power Commission (OHEPC) - Bridge Repairs, Booth Street
    (intersection Booth Street and Middle Street), Ottawa, Ontario. 
    
    Project description:  Bridge Channel Span works include repairs
    on concrete deck overlay, soffit, and at expansion joints seal,
    abutments, bearing seats, ballast wall and adjacent retaining
    wall, extension of the deck drains below the soffit and above
    the deck, restoration of the sidewalk, replacement of existing
    barrier walls, water proofing the Ottawa Hydro Electric Power
    Commission (OHEPC) channel, pavement of the roadway between
    Bronson Channel and Buchanan Channel, and reinstallation of
    lampposts with new conduit.
    
    Work is to be completed within fourteen (14) weeks after
    contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is
    within the following category: $1,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:   
    This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At
    bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated
    Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this
    requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further
    consideration will be given to the Bid. 
    
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
    There will be a site visit on September 5, 2013.  Interested
    bidders shall meet at the Intersection of Booth Street and
    Middle Street.  Contractors may park in the NCC side of Gravel
    parking lot on Middle Street to the East.
    
    Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
    site visit have hard hats and safety vests.  Contractor
    personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire
    will be denied access to the site.
