PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  R.063923.002, Confederation Building,
Bank Street Wing Flat Roof Replacement, 229 Wellington Street,
Ottawa, Ontario. 

Project description:    This project is the proposed replacement
of the flat roof finish of the Bank Street Wing of the
Confederation Building, Ottawa, Ontario. 

Work is to be completed within  fourteen (14) weeks after
contract award. 

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  The
Contractor personnel requiring access to secure work site(s)
must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, EACH
hold a valid SITE ACCESS clearance, granted or approved by the
Canadian Industrial Security Directorate, Public Works and
Government Services Canada

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  

There will be a site visit on August 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. 
Interested bidders shall meet at the Main Entrance of the
Confederation Building, 229 Wellington Street, Ottawa.

PLEASE NOTE: All bidders wishing to attend the site visit should
submit their names and dates of birth to Hélène Lagacé via email
at helene.lagace@pwgsc.gc.ca, 5 days prior to the visit to
guarantee admittance to the building.

Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the
site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
patch) and hard hats are also required.  Contractor
personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire
may be denied access to the site.
