PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: R.062229.004/Brouse/Slater Roof Replacement/177-181 Sparks Street, Ottawa

Project description:    Roofing replacement at the rear annex of the Brouse Building and Slater Building, co-located at 177-181 Sparks Street. The proposed area of replacement includes the annex roof areas of both buildings and the roof of the corridor link between the buildings. The work will also include the removal of obsolete mechanical roof-top units, removal of obsolete structural support systems,new roof drains and new perimeter metal flashings. All other existing mechanical and electrical systems are to remain and be removed/ reinstalled as required to suit the new work.

Work is to be completed within ten (10) weeks after contract award. Theestimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. 

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS.  Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. 


OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  

There will be a site visit on 19 May 2016 at 10:00 a.m.  Interested bidders shall meet at 177 Sparks Street, Ottawa.
