Project description:

This project is to replace 2 existing generators, emergency distribution equipment, 4 automatic transfer switches as well as fuel supply system that have reached the end of their expected life.  The new system will provide increased capacity and automatic redundancy.  It will be more reliable and will reduce the risk to the ongoing laboratory functions by bringing the emergency systems up to current codes and standards.

Work is to be completed within 31 weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1M to $5M. 

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. Also, the Contractor/Offerer personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a Reliability Status granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
There will be a site visit on Tuesday August 8 at 10:00 a.m.. Interested bidders are to meet at 100 Eglantine Driveways, Ottawa, Ontario.
