Project description:
This project is to replace and repair the East Roof of the National Defense Medical Centre as it has been partially torn off by a severe downburst storm on September 27, 2017. The existing roofing system is a two ply Modified Bitumen system that is approximately 8 years old.  

Work is to be completed within 8 weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement. At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. Also, the Contractor/Offerer personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must each hold a Reliability Status granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
There will be a site visit on Tuesday January 9, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at 1745 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa. (back entrance by loading dock and security desk)
 
Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (footwear and hard hats). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site.

Security: All the individuals attending the site visit must have a valid government issued photo ID in order to be granted access to the building.
