PROJECT DESCRIPTION  

This is a two-envelope bid. 

The project includes construction services consisting of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment, and material for the traffic deck rehabilitation of the Timiskaming Quebec Dam located near Témiscaming, Québec. The work will be completed in strict accordance with the specification and accompanying drawings and subject to all terms and conditions of the Contract.

The project work will consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:

1. Erecting and maintaining traffic control measures necessary for construction staging as noted on drawings.

2. Installing support brackets to the existing deck and performing concrete works as indicated on drawings.

3. Removal of asphalt and installation of longitudinal stress laminated timber deck as indicated on drawings.

4. Reconstruction of approaches and grades, approach guardrails and sidewalk railings as indicated on drawings.

Work is to be completed twenty six (26) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid RELIABILITY Status.  Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid.
