PROJECT DESCRIPTION  

The project includes construction services to implement structural repairs.

The L‘Esplanade Laurier complex is located between Laurier Avenue West and Gloucester
Street, and between Bank Street and O'Connor Street in Ottawa, Ontario. 

It is composed of two 20-storey office towers built above two commercial levels M1 and M2. The building facades are clad in marble/precast panels. It was built in 1975. The building, since its erection, has experienced numerous deficiencies of the precast marble clad panels such as de-bonding, cracking and joint compression. 

Work is to be completed eight (8) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: Between $100,001 and $500,000

This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid RELIABILITY Status.  Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. 

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  

There will be a site visit on 21 August 2019 at 10:00AM local time. Interested bidders are invited to meet at the main entrance of 300 Laurier Avenue West Ottawa, Ontario.
