PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  EP076-222018 CFIA Central Heating and Cooling Plant, Burner Upgrades, 3851 Fallowfield Road, Nepean, ON K2J 4S1

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:   The upgrade of the Burners within a CFIA Central Heating and Cooling Plant.

Work is to be completed within (44) weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $1,000,001 to $5,000,000.

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
 
This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid [Designated Organization Screening (DOS) / Facility Security Clearance at level of Reliability Status]. Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT: 
 
There will be a site visit on June 21, 2022 at 9:00am.  Interested bidders shall meet at the 3851 Fallowfield Road, Nepean, ON K2J 4S1.

The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be accepted.

Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green patch). Hard hats and safety glasses are also required.  Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire will be denied access to the site.
