    PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
    
    The work consist of asphalt repairs to the roadway and two bridges on the Chaudière Crossing from the south approach of Bronson Channel bridge to the north end approach of the OHEPC bridge.
    
    Work is to be completed within 6 weeks after contract award. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: 
    
    $100,001 to $500,000
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
     
    This procurement contains a mandatory security requirement.  At bid closing, the Bidder must hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS) and Reliability Status.  Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid. 
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    1.There will be a site visit on the 23rd day of March at 11am (EST). Interested bidders are to meet at intersection of Booth street and Middle street. Parking on Middle Street. 
      
    2.Safety Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site visit have the proper personal protection  equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site. Mask” must be worn at all times, persons attending the job showing must sign in on the Covid sign in sheets as mandated by PSPC.
    
    3.The site visit is subjected to the Covid-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. The person(s) who attend must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19,or, for personnel that are unable to be 
    vaccinated due to a certificate medical contraindication, religion or other prohibited grounds of discrimination under the Canadian Human Rights Act, subjected to accommodation and mitigation 
    measures that have been presented to and approved by Canada.

    Enquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) business days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
