Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: PROJECT IDENTIFICATION: R.010219.023 - CBUS UPS Equipment Replacement. Center Block Building, 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario Project description: Public Services and Procurement Canada requires the services of a contractor to supply and install a temporary Uninteruptable Power Supply (UPS) to provide temporary power to critical loads. The contractor shall then remove the existing UPS, and replace it with a new UPS unit which shall be supplied by others. After successful completion of testing, the temporary UPS shall be removed and the new UPS shall be left in service. Work is to be completed within Ten (10) weeks after contract award. MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT: The Contractor personnel requiring access to secure work site(s) must, at all times during the performance of the Contract, EACH hold a valid SITE ACCESS Clearance, granted or approved by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on Thursday November 23rd 2017 at 10AM. Interested bidders shall meet outside, at the security guards desk located on the left side of the Peace tower on the ground level, at the front entrance of the Center Block Building at 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. Due to the nature of the requirement and in order to gain access to the building, all bidders must submit the name (legal name) and date of birth of each individual that will be attending the site visit. This information is to be submitted to the Contracting Authority by email at the following email address: jasmin.michaud@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than November 21st, 2017 at 12:00 pm (noon), as this information must be verified and confirmed through the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD). You will only be advised if a name is provided and CANNOT access the site visit, if no response is sent back to you, it confirms that the individual has the proper clearance to participate. It is the responsibility of the bidders to ensure that the Contracting Authority is in receipt of this information by the date and time specified. All contractor personnel/individuals that bidders plan on sending to attend the site visit must be cleared prior to attending. No personnel/individuals will be permitted to access the site without the required clearance. Safety Attire - No safety attire necessary. BID DOCUMENTS: Firms intending to submit bids on this project should obtain bid documents through the Government Electronic Tendering Service at http://Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders or at the toll-free number 1-855-886-3030. Amendments, when issued, will be available from the same government electronic tendering service. Firms that elect to base their bids on bid documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid calling authority of their intention to bid. Delivery Date: 10/11/2017 The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
