    Soils
    
    Work under the proposed contract comprises of the furnishing of
    all labour, materials, equipment, and supervision for the
    building demolition and remediation of impacted soil at the
    former Mount Agassiz Ski Resort in Riding Mountain National Park
    in Manitoba, as more fully described in the Drawings and
    Specifications.
    
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT 
    
    There will be a site visit on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 1:30
    PM (local time) . Interested bidders are to meet at Riding
    Mountain National Park boundary where secondary highway 361
    enters the park (approximately 6km west of McCreary).
    
    The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The
    representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site
    Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by
    Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will not be
    accepted.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority by noon
    Tuesday, January 20, 2015, to confirm attendance and provide the
    names of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required
    to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids
    that they have attended the
    site visit. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative
    will not be given an alternative appointment and their bids will
    be rejected as non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to
    the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be
    included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    Attire - It is mandatory that all persons attending the site
    visit have the proper safety footwear (CSA approved green
    patch), hard hats, safety glasses and wear dust masks.
    Contractor personnel/individuals who do not have the proper
    safety attire will be denied access to the site.  
    	
    Interested bidders are to register and confirm their attendance
    with the Contracting Authority. Please

    Non-registered bidders will not be taken to or be allowed on the
    site.
    
    All travel and living costs associated with travel to Riding
    Mountain National Park for the purpose of attending the
    Mandatory Site Visit/Bidder's Conference will be borne by the
    Contractor or their representative.
    
    
    Bidders are responsible for obtaining copies of bid forms and
    special instructions and amendments issued prior to bid closing,
    and are to ensure they are addressed in the submitted bid. 
    
    This procurement contains MANDATORY requirements. Failure to
    comply will result in rejection of your bid.
