Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of
Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC)
intends to retain an individual Design-Builder (D-B) or Joint
Venture to address the degrading condition of containers holding
Hazardous Waste Material located within Giant Mine in
Yellowknife, NWT.  These containers are now in states of
disrepair and require re-containerization and consolidation. 
The complete design-build work for the Arsenic
Re-containerization can be found fully described in the Terms of
Reference.  

An Optional Site Visit will be held August 29th, 2014 at 10:00
a.m.  

Bidders are hereby informed that the requirements of the Tlicho
Land Claim and Self Government Agreement will apply to this
procurement. The benefits that apply are contained in: Chapter
26, the Tlicho Land Claim and Self Government Agreement, clauses
26.3, 26.3.1 (a).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
