The proposed requirement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement: Tlicho Land Claims and Self-Government Agreement.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) has a requirement for the removal of oil with low concentrations of PCBs from 31 decommissioned transformers at the Giant Mine site in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.  The objective is to remove, transport, dispose and report on all applicable PCBs from the site in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

The Request For Proposal (RFP) is distributed to the EW479-162880 Hazardous Waste Disposal Services Supply Arrangement (SA) holders that are qualified for work in the Northwest Territories.  

This requirement is open to the following companies who qualified under the stated stream and region:

Aevita Inc. (EW479-162880/001/NCS)
KBL Environmental Ltd. (EW479-162880/008/NCS)

The RFP document will be e-mailed directly, from the contracting officer, to the qualified supply arrangement holders who are being invited to bid on this requirement.  Bidders are advised that buyandsell.gc.ca is not responsible for the distribution of the solicitation documents.
