Requirement: The scope of work under this proposed contract includes but shall not be limited to the provision of all labour, material, tools, test equipment, and equipment necessary to perform minor construction and/or minor repairs and maintenance to buildings and building equipment, including structural, electrical, mechanical and painting, as specified within this specification provided by PWGSC Representative. NOTE: any work required for the sub-trades (electrical, mechanical and plumbing) on this Contract should only be in support of the construction/maintenance requirements. Work will include: minor carpentry construction, and/or repairs and related work. Minor mechanical work, e.g. plumbing, sheet metal, machining, and welding, etc. Minor electrical work (electrical license imperative). Minor interior finish work, e.g. drywall, wall covering, plastering, painting, flooring, ceiling tiles, etc. Minor exterior work, e.g. siding, painting, caulking, brick concrete and mortar repair, roof repairs, glass replacement, etc. Clean up and debris removal. Work sites: Bedford Institute of oceanography, Dartmouth, N.S. Traffic Centre, Shannon Hill, N.S. Coast Guard Hangar, Shearwater, N.S. Contract Duration: One year from date of contract, with 2 one-year option years. Basis of Selection: The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract. The solicitation document contains complete details on the requirement and the bid evaluation and contractor selection methodology. This office provides service to the public in English. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
