Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: If 3+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: W7707-135605/A Figueredo, Laila Telephone No. - (902) 496-5353 Fax No. - (902) 496-5016 SYNTHETIC APERTURE SONAR CONSULTING These is a requirement for research and development consulting services to be carried out under the general area of synthetic aperture sonar for Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Atlantic, Department of National Defence. DRDC Atlantic requires a consultant with expertise in the design, manufacturing and integration of synthetic aperture sonars systems in order to augment the research carried out under the Mine and Harbour Defence group. These services will take the form of studies on the performance of SAS systems, novel designs for future SAS systems, integration of systems into Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), data analysis, software development, and taking part in experiments. The Work to be performed under contract will be on an "as and when required basis" using Task Authorizations (TA). The Work described in the TA must be within the scope of the contract. The Contract period is from Contract award to 31 March 2013, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods. There is a security requirement associated with this requirement. Pursuant to section 01 of Standard Instructions 2003 and 2004, Bidders must submit a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. Furthermore, as determined by the Special Investigations Directorate, Departmental Oversight Branch, each individual named on the list may be requested to complete a Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
