Telephone No. - (902) 496-5261 Fax No. - (902) 496-5016 14 Construction Engineering Squadron (14 CES) has the requirement for the purchase of one complete Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system and associated operator training. The manufacturer will provide operator training at 144 Construction Engineering Flight (144 CEF), a sub-unit of 14 CES located in Pictou, Nova Scotia, Canada for all equipment purchased. This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). This procurement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods. The evaluation team will determine first if there are two (2) or more bids with a valid Canadian Content certification. In that event, the evaluation process will be limited to the bids with the certification; otherwise, all bids will be evaluated. If some of the bids with a valid certification are declared non-responsive, or are withdrawn, and less than two responsive bids with a valid certification remain, the evaluation will continue among those bids with a valid certification. If all bids with a valid certification are subsequently declared non-responsive, or are withdrawn, then all the other bids received will be evaluated. All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority, Linda Richard, at linda.k.richard@pwgsc.gc.ca, no later than five (5) calendar days before the bid closing date.
