PWGSC, Cape Breton Operations,  has the requirement to take mine
water samples at sixty (60) borehole and surface discharge
locations that access the abandoned mine workings of the 1B, SM,
NW,No.21, No.22, Gowrie, Blockhouse, Four Star, and
Beaver/Nicholson flooded Mine Pools. The main purpose of this
sampling program is to provide an update of the characterization
and evolving chemistry of the mine water within these flooded
mine pools and to provide a chemical basis for optimizing the
well pumping sequence at the Neville Street Mine Water Treatment
Facility. This information will allow PWGSC to make informed
decisions on future pumping and treatment options.

later than five (5)  calendar days before the bid closing date.
