This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W010Z-16B008/A dated 2016-03-07 with a closing of 2016-03-23 at 2:00 p.m.. A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation.

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for towing and recovery services of light and heavy commercial vehicles, Standard Military Pattern (SMP) vehicles and equipment in use at CFB Halifax.  This includes all recovery services in HRM and surrounding areas (Halifax County) and shall consist of the following boundaries:  

- North to the NB Border (Colchester and Cumberland Counties)
- West as far as the Avon River (Windsor) (Hants County)
- East as far as the Canso Causeway (Pictou, Guysborough and Antigonish Counties);
- Southern coast line

All contractors must the capability to recover and transport light and heavy-duty vehicles including but not limited to highway tractors, emergency vehicles, buses, boats, airfield support equipment, etc.  Work shall be performed on a "when requested" basis by the Contracts Section of Transportation Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (TEME).

The Standing Offer will be effective from the date of Standing Offer award for one year, with the possiblity of two (2) additional one-year options.

All enquiries must be submitted in writing to the Standing Offer Authority, Linda Richard, at linda.k.richard@pwgsc.gc.ca no later than five (5) calendar days before the Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) closing date.  Enquiries received after that time may not be answered.
