Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) on behalf of he Geological Survey of Canada (Atlantic) as part of Natural Resources Canada conducts scientific research on geological materials relating to marine resources and environmental geoscience. Scientists require the capacity to view thin sections from rock samples under transmitted and reflected light while making photographic documentation of their observations.

Objective
To supply two (2) trinocular petrographic microscopes for standard and polished thin section analyses that includes an imaging system, imaging software, and set-up and training by the vendor.

The Petrographic Microscope must meet all mandatory technical requirements to deemed compliant.

Delivery is MANDATORY on or before March 31, 2017.  If delivery cannot be met, the contract will be terminated.

This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
