    Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement on behalf of Canadian Coast Guard to carry out docking repairs to the CCGS Hudson in accordance with the associated technical specification detailed in the Statement of Work and applicable Annexes and Appendices. Potential bidders requiring a copy of the complete technical data package are to submit an email request directly to the Contracting Authority.
    
    The work period dates are:
    
    Commencement: 25 February 2019
    Completion: 15 July 2019
    
    The vessel will be unmanned during the work period and will be considered to be out of commission. The vessel during that period will be in the care or custody of the Contractor and under its control.
    
    There is no security requirement applicable to this Contract.
    
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    As a result of the closure of the Great Lakes St Lawrence Seaway System; this procurement will be limited to suppliers located from Quebec City eastwards only.
    
    This requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
    
    This procurement is set aside from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) - exemption reference: Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, General Notes, Schedule of Canada - paragraph 1(a).  It is also set aside from the World Trade Organization - Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP) - exemption reference: Annex 4, Note 4.
