    To provide labour, parts, material, and equipment to carry out
    repairs on and  for CCGC Cape Light in accordance with
    specification No. 11-C145-023-1 and Annexes A and B. Bidders are
    to contact the Contracting Authority to obtain Annexes A and B.
    
    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),
    Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA),
    Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to
    the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and will be limited to
    suppliers in Eastern Canada in accordance with Shipbuilding,
    Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19). 
    
    A bidders' conference will be held at 1 PM on 14 March 2012, in
    the offices of the Canadian Coast Guard Station in Clark's
    Harbour, Nova Scotia.  The vessel  will be available for viewing
    before and after the bidders conference on the same day. There
    are no additional viewings available before the beginning of the
    refit work period. It is strongly recommended that potential
    bidders view the vessel to fully understand the scope of work
    and the many interference items associated with this work.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
    than 12 March 2012, to confirm attendence at the bidders
    conference. The viewing and bidders conference will be cancelled
    if no confirmations are received.
    
    The Government of Canada reserves the right to negotiate with
    suppliers on any procurement.
