To provide labour, parts, material, and equipment to carry out
the docking and refit on and  for CCGS Sigma T in accordance
with specification No. 12-S059-009-1.

The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),
Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA),
Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to
the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

The vessel is classified Home Trade Voyage, Class III and cannot
transit open seas, therefore it will not be delivered to any
facility that exceeds the vessel's classification limitations.

A bidders' conference will be held at 11 AM on 24 July 2012, in
the King Boardroom, located in the Vulcan Building at the
Bedford Institue of Oceanography in Bedford, Nova Scotia.  The
vessel  will be available for viewing before and after the
bidders conference on the same day. There are no additional
viewings available before the beginning of the refit work
period.  

Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later
than 20 July 2012, to confirm attendence at the bidders
conference. The viewing and bidders conference will be cancelled
if no confirmations are received.

The Government of Canada reserves the right to negotiate with
suppliers on any procurement.
