    Provide all of the necessary parts, labour, expertise and
    materials to install new government supplied ABC Type
    12DZC-900-166 replacement main propulsion engines for the
    Department of Transport vessel MV Holiday Island in accordance
    with specification JI3072-R01, rev 2. Potential suppliers must
    contact the Contracting Authority to obtain the Technical
    Specification and associated drawings.
    
    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),
    Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA),
    Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1; however, it is subject to
    the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). 
    
    A bidders' conference will be held at 1:00 PM on 29 January 2014
    in the Ferry terminal at Northumberland Ferries Ltd, 3722 Hwy
    106, Caribou, NS.  The vessel will be available for viewing on
    28 and 29 January 2014 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority prior to
    the viewing and conference to confirm attendance and obtain
    authorization to enter the vessel. The site visit and bidders
    conference may be cancelled if bidders attendance is not
    confirmed.
    
    Suppliers must provide a list of names, or other related
    information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard
    Instructions 2003 and 2004.The Government of Canada reserves the
    right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
