    The Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Halifax, requires the services of one (1) Certified Playground Inspector to perform Playground Inspection and Repair on four (4) playgrounds located in CFB Halifax. The contractor must follow all federal and provincial guidelines in regards to play structures. The inspection is expected to take place and then followed by repair service.
    
    The period of the Contract is One year from award, plus two (2) additional 1-year option years.
    To be considered responsive, a bid must meet all mandatory technical criteria as follows:
    
    Before Bid Closing Date and Time, Bidders must demonstrate in their bid that the proposed resource who will perform the work described in Annex A Statement of Work is a Certified Playground Inspector in the Province of Nova Scotia.  
    
    Bidders must provide proof of the proposed resource's valid Playground Safety Inspector Certification issued by an approved organization including the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA). 
    
    Should the Bidder fail to provide proof of the proposed resource's certification in its bid submission, the bid will be deemed non-responsive.  Bidders must inquire about the acceptability of the proposed resource's Certification at least 15 calendar days before Bid Closing Date if the certificate is issued by an organization different from the above listed Associations. 
    
    A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive.
    
    The responsive bid with the lowest price will be recommended for award of a contract.
    
    There are no security requirements associated with the requirement.
