    To provide for all necessary labour, materials, tools, and
    equipment to carry out paint and preservation of
    exterior decks onboard H.M.C.S. Montreal in accordance with
    Annex A.
    
    This work will be carried out for the Department of National
    Defence, Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape
    Scott, HMC Dockyard, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
    
    All work must be completed as scheduled in Annex A. The Bidder
    agrees through submission of its response to the bid
    solicitation that the above time frame provides an adequate
    period to perform the subject work and absorb a reasonable
    amount of unscheduled work; and further, that they have
    sufficient material and human resources allocated or available
    to complete the subject work and a reasonable amount of
    unscheduled work within the Work period.
    
    There is a security requirement associated with this
    requirement. For additional information, see Part 6, Security

    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade
    Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),
    Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA),
    Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1(a), however, it is subject
    to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) and will be limited to
    suppliers in Eastern Canada in accordance with Shipbuilding,
    Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy (1996-12-19).
