Title: Electrofishing Boat

Fisheries and Oceans Canada has a requirement for a Contractor to design, fabricate and supply quantity one (1) lightweight, inflatable pontoon electrofishing boat with an electric outboard motor based on the current Transport Canada Marine Safety Branch (TCMSB) Marine Safety Publication TP 1332 Construction Standards for Small Vessels (TCMSB TP 1332). 

The vessel will be used to conduct monitoring, research and control of aquatic invasive species in areas not accessible by larger electrofishing boats. 

The vessel will be used for in-shore operations in sheltered waters and must be capable of being launched and recovered by foot. The boat must be constructed in such a way as to easily disassemble and assemble into individual, easily portable components on site. Each individual component should be as light weight as possible to allow for portability through difficult terrain and dense forests. The associated generator will be the single most heavy component of the boat.

Delivery of the vessel must be made on or before September 20, 2020.
