    Public Works and Government Services Canada, on behalf of Fisheries and Oceans Canada has a requirement to acquire the services of a qualified company to repaint two large steel tanks on-site in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.  The project requires removal of portions of old paint and rust, and repainting all accessible surfaces. See specifications listed in Annex A for more details.
    
    Note: It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held on Thursday April 26th, at 10:00 AM. Interested bidders are to RSVP the Contracting Authority via email no later than 2 PM on April 25th, 2018.  Bidders who do not RSVP will be denied entry.  Bidders who have RSVP’d are to meet at the Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Dartmouth, NS, B2Y 4A2.
    
    Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    Evaluation Criteria: Mandatory Technical Criteria, Pass/Fail
    
    Basis of Selection: The lowest bid meeting the mandatory technical 
    criteria will be issued a contract.
    
    Mandatory Delivery Date: On or before October 31, 2018.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. 
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
