Nature of Requirements: 
Halifax - Refit Barges YC417, 453, 467. 

Requirement:

To provide labour, material, and facilities to carry out the 
refit of the Department of National Defence  YC417, YC457, and 
YC463 Barges in accordance with Invitation to Tender, associated
Technical Specifications and Naval Maintenance Management
Systems (NAMMS) instructions, comprising of :  Maintenance and
Repair Specification List (MRSL) YC417, YC457 and YC463;  
Barges operate from HMC Dockyard, Halifax, Nova Scotia

It is not a requirement that these vessels be drydocked. 
Vessels can be lifted by crane and transported to the
contractor's facility at contractor's expense.

Work Period Marine  

	Commence:  October 2012
	Completion:  January 2013

Viewing:   October 9, @ 9:30 am  Arrangements to be made by
contacting David Sheppard  (902) 427-6006.  
Meet at Jetty NH and use Admirals Gate as the entrance to the
Dockyard. All personnel for the viewing that need Security
Passes and Parking are to contact USECURO at 427-6002 and ask
for Kim Cattral. Kim will notify the Pass Offices.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
