    CLEAN MARINE GROWTH FROM Floating Force Protection Boom (FFPB)
    UNITS
    
    to provide for all necessary labour, materials, tools,
    transport, and equipment to clean all Marine Growth from
    approximately 260 units of the Halifax Naval Dockyard FFPB. 
    
    A2) WORK PERIOD: All units are to be cleaned and returned no
    later than 30 April 2013. 
    
    A3) WORKSITE: All work shall be carried out at Contractor
    Facilities. Contractor shall transport units from Baker's Point,
    CFB Shearwater and return to Building D165, HMC Dockyard u/c of
    cleaning. The Contractor shall dispose of all removed marine
    growth IAW Provincial Environmental Regulations and a disposal
    certificate shall be provided to DND. The worksites shall be
    available as required, for pick-up and return of units, and in
    accordance with work schedule provided as part of successful bid.
    
    A4) PRICING: Contractors shall provide a lump-sum quotation for
    the cleaning of 250 units, located at Baker's Point, CFB
    Shearwater, and 10 "Type F" Corner pieces, located within HMC
    Dockyard. Quotes shall include all costs for transportation,
    cleaning, and disposal of marine growth for all 260 units.
    Bidders shall also include in their bid submission a quotation
    for the transportation, cleaning and disposal of marine growth
    for groups of 5 "Type A" units, should additional units require
    cleaning.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
