    REQUIREMENT:
    PWGSC on behalf of Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape Scott (FMFCS) requires the supply and installation of concrete barriers with attached chain link fence panels, and one (1) double-doored swing gate in creating two outdoor storage compounds one (1) located outside building D174 Shipwright Shop, and one (1) south of building D294 sub shelter at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Halifax Dockyard.
    
    SITE VISIT:
    Arrangements have been made for an OPTIONAL site visit to be held on Thursday, November 15th, 2018.   Bidders are to meet at 08:00 AM at Rainbow Gate, DND Dockyard, Halifax, NS to begin the site visit. 
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority, Valerie Matheson at valerie.matheson@pwgsc.gc.ca no later than noon on Tuesday, November 13th to confirm attendance and to provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance sheet and will be required to present photo ID when signing in.  Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    PERIOD OF CONTRACT:
    All the deliverables must be received on or before March 31, 2019.
    
    SECURITY:
    There is a Security requirement with this Solicitation.
    
    BASIS OF SELECTION:
    A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive.  The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
