Nature of Requirements: 

1.  Requirement - Scope of work under this service contract includes, but is not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide snow plowing, snow blowing, snow removal, ice control, landscape maintenance including spring cleaning, repair and renovating, aerating, fertilizing, mowing, watering, weeding, and pest and disease control.

2.  Client Department - For Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) at Fort Massey Cemetery, Halifax, Nova Scotia

3.  Period of contract - The period of any resulting Contract will be for a period of two (2) years (estimated commencement date May 1, 2016), with Canada retaining an irrevocable option to extend the contract for a period of one (1) additional consecutive twelve (12) month period.

4.  Site Visit - All parties tendering should examine the site of the proposed work prior to submitting their tenders and become thoroughly acquainted with same, and obtain any and all information that may be necessary to properly execute Contract.

5.  Basis of selection - A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
