Nature of Requirements: 

The requirement is for the Department of Natural Resources at 601 Booth Street, Ottawa, ON, for the rental and maintenance services of one (1) contractor owned storage tank including the supply of Bulk Liquid Argon on an ‘’as and when required’’ basis. 

The level of the gas must be monitor and control by the contractor by means of a telemetry system to ensure a continuous feed to the facilities, without interruption.

Requirement include the following:

Item 1 Bulk Liquid Argon, in accordance with Compressed Gas Association (CGA) Specification G.11.1, Type II, Grade C, (latest edition) with the following exceptions: Total hydrocarbons maximum 0.5 ppm. Estimated annual quantity 12,600 (Gaseous Cubic Meters). 

Item 2 Installation and maintenance of one (1) contractor owned storage tank suitable for the storage of Liquid Argon. All fittings and adapters are included. Tank Size Proposed 900 US Gal. 
 
Item 3 The tank will be fitted with a silencer on the tank vent, which will reduce the noise level during venting. 

The resulting contract will cover a period of five (5) years.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
