TITLE:  PAN & TILT SYSTEM

Industry Canada has a requirement for the following system:


Quantity:  2 Pan & Tilt Systems (PTU's) with the following specs:

Payload capacity:	80lbs

Configuration:	Elevation over azimuth

RF passthrough:	coaxial joint,50 Ohm RF to 18GHz (loss less than
2.5dB total for both axis combined)

Payload
pass through:		6 conductors:	serial port signals (5 signals, 1
ground)
			4 conductors:	Power supplies: 3 power and 1 ground rated at
30V, 1A or 				better
			2 conductors:	Power supply: 1 power and 1 ground rated at
30V, 3A or 				better

Weight of P&T unit: 	50 lbs or less 

Pan speed:	20 deg/s or faster

Tilt speed:	20 deg/s or faster

Pan range: 	continuous

Tilt range:	120 deg.

Position resolution: 	0.1 deg. or better

Position
repeatability: 	0.1deg. or better 

Control:	Serial RS-485

Control and
pass through
cable length: 	75 ft

Power supply for North America
