    There is a requirement for a secure drop box to be placed at the
    Welcome Point (WP) in Service Canada Centres (SCCs) across
    Canada.  Below are the requirements for the secure drop box.
    1.	The secure drop box must have an opening to allow the Citizen
    Service Officer (CSO) to quickly insert documents without having
    to open or unlock the secure lock box.  The secure drop box must
    have an opening which will accommodate envelopes up to 9 ½" x
    15" with a thickness of up to ½".  
    2.	The secure drop box must be able to accommodate a volume of
    up to 100 envelopes with various thicknesses.  
    3.	Locking mechanism: key lock with a one-inch throw
    4.	Metal gauge: 11
    5.	Paint/finish/colour: Powder coated black
    6.	Tolerances on measurements: +/- ½ inches (excluding opening )
    7.	The opening should be no less than 24" from the ground and no
    higher than 29"from the ground.
    8.	Installation: The lock box is to be bolted to the ground. In
    cases where this is impossible, the lock box is to be bolted to
    a desk. The project authority will provide a list of
    installations that are to be bolted to the desk when it becomes
    available.
