Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 8 Wing Trenton, Astra, Ontario on 11 January 2017. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m. (EST), Bidder are to meet at Bldg 22, 72 Polaris Ave, Astra, Ontario to be escorted to the site.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than three (3) days before to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or donot send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

6. Electric Supply 120/600V, 50/60Hz is available at Tire-Bay.
7. Documentation 2 sets of instruction and maintenance manuals including parts lists in English language. Additional documentation is available at extra costs.
8. Additional Information:

a) Must provide a purity of 95% N2 as a minimum. Must be capable of providing enough N2 to fill 1-15 tires in a 24 Hour period.
b)  Must be able to perform its duty in estimated ranges are 0 - 60 deg C and 0 - 70% humidity, in an enclosed poorly ventilated room that is 10’ X 14’ X 8’h 3 drywall walls, ceiling,  and 1 cinder block wall with a double steel door. There are nowindows and only a 5” X 14” exhaust vent installedin the ceiling for any ventilating requirements.
C)  Must have a dB sound level acceptable for indoor use(peak 105dB). Must be able to inflate a C130 Hercules Main Wheel (56”x20.00-20) in 10Min+-5Min.
