The RCEME School teaches military technicians the skills to weld and need the supplies for that purpose. They have tried every welding rod in stock and can’t get a proper weld on the armour plating for the tanks, and the Technical repair manual says to use these exact supplies which are made in Germany (like the tanks).  The tanks have been a part of the Canadian Army for nearly 10 years
