BACKGROUND

DRDC is supporting a Directorate of Land Requirements (DLR) acquisition project on night vision modernization. As part of this project, DRDC will evaluate the capability offered by different night vision goggle (NVG) configurations (monocular, binocular, thermal-i2 fused systems). In order to carry out these evaluations, fused binocular NVGs must be acquired. The systems should achieve fusion with an integral thermal and i2 capability rather than with a clip-on or modular system.
