The Department of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada requires a 400 MHzNuclear Magnetic Resonance spectrometer (NMR) with a broad range of capabilities for identification and characterization of various nuclei (1H, 19F, 13C, 31P, etc.) for performing one and two dimensional NMR as well as other NMR spectroscopic techniquesas detailed in Annex “A”, Requirement, attached hereto.

Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Royal Military College Sawyer Mod. 5, third floor, building 69 at 11 General Crerar Crescent, Kingston, Ontario on November 16, 2015. The site visit will begin at 10:00 a.m. EST in laboratory 3511.

Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority no laterthan 3:00 p.m. EST November 13, 2015 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
