Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: maintenance of freight transfer equipment W0125-15K003/A Choquette, Herb Telephone No. - (613) 536-4874 Fax No. - (613) 545-8067 The work under this Standing Offer Agreement (SOA) comprises the furnishing of all labour, material and equipmentrequired for the inspection, servicing and maintenance of freight transfer equipment at the Canadian Forces Base located in Trenton, Ontario. Work will be performed as and when required. It is the intention of Canada to issue one (1) Standing Offer for this requirement. Security Requirements There are security requirements associated with the requirement of the Standing Offer. For additional information, see Part 6 - Security, Financial and Insurance Requirements, and Part 7 - Standing Offer and Resulting Contract Clauses. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, Offerors should refer to the Industrial Security Program (ISP) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/index-eng.html) website. Mandatory Site Visit It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held on January 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. local time at Base Construction Engineers' Conference Room, second floor 14 Alert Blvd. St. CFB Trenton. The duration of the site visit will be a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 8 hours. Bidders or their representatives must attend the entire mandatory site visit to comply with Canada’s Mandatory Requirement for attendance. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than 3 days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the names of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Bidders should confirm in their bids that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bids willbe rejected as non-compliant. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
