DND requires a uncooled in-line Medium Range Thermal Weapon Sight (MRTWS) that is technologically matched in the latest capability available to Military forces for day/night and thermal observation equipment. The MRTWS must also be compatible with the current fleet of weapons systems that allow precise engagement out to 1,300 m without effecting the zero and accuracy of the weapon. 

Supply Arrangements will be issued to all suppliers whose arrangements have been deemed compliant to this RFSA. When DND requires these goods, a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be sent to all Supply Arrangement Holders, and will include a technical and financial evaluation.  

Goods must be provided in accordance with any resultant contract and within the stipulated timeframes.

This RFSA requires suppliers to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their arrangement electronically. Suppliers must refer to Part 2 of the RFSA entitled Supplier Instructions and Part 3 of the RFSA entitled Arrangement Preparation Instructions for further information on using this method.
