DND requires a single output device (Laptop) to connect to both a light and laser based scanner, due to the range of different materials that will be required to be scanned, and the complimentary advantages of light and laser based scanners.

Submission of Bids

Bids must be submitted only to the Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Bid Receiving Unit specified below by the date and time indicated on page 1 of the bid solicitation:

Only bids submitted using epost Connect service will be accepted. The Bidder must send an email requesting to open an epost Connect conversation to the following address:

Note: Bids will not be accepted if emailed directly to this email address. This email address is to be used to open an epost Connect conversation, as detailed in Standard Instructions 2003, or to send bids through an epost Connect message if the bidder is using its own licensing agreement for epost Connect.

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to ensure the request for opening an epost Connect conversation is sent to the email address above at least six days before the solicitation closing date. 

Bids transmitted by facsimile or hardcopy to PWGSC will not be accepted.
