Title: 1 Technician (Senior), Tier 1,  (TSPS SA) (E60ZN-15TSPS) for the Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces Base Trenton,Astra, Ontario

This requirement is open only to those TSPS Supply Arrangment Holders holding a TSPS SA for Tier 1 in the Ontario Region Area under the E60ZN-15TSPS of Sas are invited to compete. 
SA Holders may not submit a bid in response to this bid solicitation unless they have been invited to do so.  However, should an univited SA Holder wish to be invited, it may contact the Contract Authority to request an invitation at any time prior to five business days before the published bid closing date, and an invitation will be made to that SA Holder unless it would not be consistent with the efficient operation of the procurement system.  In no circumstance will an invitation
require Canada to extend the bid closing date.

Description of the Requirement:

The Department of National Defence (DND), Aerospace and Telecommunications Engineering  Support Squadron (ATESS) located at CFB Trenton, Trenton, Ontario has a requirement for the  services of one (1) Senior Technician as per the requirements stated in Annex A, Statement of  Work.  The contractor will provide this service primarily at 8 Wing Trenton in Trenton, Ontario.

Proposed Period of the Cotnract:

Award to one (1) year later with the irrevocable option of extending the term of the Contract upto a maximum of two (2) one (1) year option periods.

Estimated Level of Effort:

The estimated level of effort of the contract will be for 240 days.

Security Requirement:

((1) The Bidder:  Facility Security Clearance level SECRET
(2) Resouce: Secret
(3) The requirement is subject to the Controlled Goods Program

Basis of Selection

i)   A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory   evaluation criteria to be declared responsive.

ii)  The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a   contract. A maximum of one contract may be awarded for this requirement.
