Nature of Requirements: 

The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the provision of bus charter and bus rental services on an as and when requested basis.  The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a series of Regional Individual Standing Offers for 4th Canadian Division Support Base Petawawa Technical Services, Toronto Detachment (4CDSB Tech Svc) located at the George Taylor Denison III Armoury, 1 Yukon Lane Toronto, ON M3K 0A1.  The vehicles for hire or rental include various-sized highway motor coaches, school buses, and activity buses, with and without driver, and will be used to transport both government and non-government personnel as per operational requirements. Please see Annex A Statement of Work, for further details.
Pick-Up Rights:  4CDSB Tech Svc routinely generates bus charter requirements that originate from areas outside of LCol George Taylor Denison III Armoury.  

Offerors may bid on one or more bus types, i.e. Charters (Highway Motor Coach, School Bus, and/or Activity Bus) and/or Rentals (Highway Motor Coach, School Bus, and/or Activity Bus).

It is the intention of the Crown to issue a Standing Offer to each responsive Offeror.

The period of the Standing Offer will be from 01 October 2017 to 13 June 2018, with the irrevocable option to extend the period of the Standing Offer by three additional one-year periods.   

Public Works and Government Services Canada may choose to include this requirement in the standing offer renewal process for similar services to Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Kingston, CFB Trenton, CFB Petawawa, CFB Borden, and DND’s Dwyer Hill Training Centre (DHTC).  The aforementioned standing offers are issued under #W0125-15H003, with an anticipated end date of June 2019.
