Trade Agreement: CETA / CFTA Tendering Procedures: If 2+ bids offer Canadian goods/services other bids will not be considered Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: Yes Nature of Requirements: Weil-McLain boilers Department of National Defence (DND) in Astra, Ontario has an urgent requirement for two (2) Weil-McLain boilers for furtherance on to Canadian Forces Station Alert. Requirement is for supply and delivery only to CFB Trenton. Weil-McLain boiler, model # BL-680-WF will be a glycol boiler with Riello burner as per model #F-20 and per specifications and options identified herein. Mandatory Delivery Date: 6 weeks from contract award This procurement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement(s): - Nunavut Land Claims Agreement IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level. To use epost Connect to submit your bid, or to get more information on its use, please send an email to the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit’s generic address at TPSGC.orreceptiondessoumissions-orbidreceiving.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the request for proposal process. Bidders should make the request to the Contract Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for standing offers process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person. Suppliers are requested to provide any questions, concerns and required information, concerning the RFP, by e-mail, if they so desire.
