Tailoring Services - DND Toronto


The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for tailoring services of military clothing and accessories, on an as-requested basis, for 4 Canadian Division Support Base Technical Services Toronto, and all supporting units within the Greater Toronto Area. The Contractor will coordinate with DND Personnel for picking up and dropping off items, as required. Contractor will have the option to perform all tailoring work on-site in space provided by DND or off-site at the Contractor’s facility. However, all measurements and fittings on individuals must be performed on-site, at George Taylor Denison III Armoury, 1 Yukon Lane Toronto, ON M3K 0A1.

The period of the Contract is from 01 May 2021 to 30 April 2024 inclusive. 

This procurement is targeted to Canadian Black owned or led small businesses. It is part of a pilot program by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) that will inform the expanded use of targeted approaches to increase diversity in future procurements and support opportunity and economic growth for Black Canadians. Should a complaint bid not be received from a Canadian Black owned or led small business, bids from other companies will be considered.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the request for proposal process. Bidders should make the request to the Contract Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for standing offers process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person.
