Trade Agreement: CETA/WTO-AGP/CPTPP/CFTA/FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama/Korea/UK Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: New Closing Date - 25 July 2022 Security Screening X-Ray Device (SSXD) The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) have a requirement for a security screening X-Ray device (SSXD), referred to as X-ray from here on in, in the Canadian Forces Postal Unit (CFPU) Headquarters (HQ) in Trenton, Ontario. This is to ensure Canadian Post Corporation regulations are adhered to during the processing of CAF mail. One size of conveyor-style parcel x-ray machine (hereinafter referred to as the X-Ray machine) including delivery, installation, operator training, software, with a 5-year warranty including software updates, programming, all required manuals for the operation and maintenance of the X-Ray machine (either in English, French or bilingual format), all necessary cables, power cords, and accessories required to produce a fully functional X-Ray machine. This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive." The intention of the Crown is to issue one contract to meet this requirement. There are no security requirements associated with this requirement. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level. To use epost Connect to submit your bid, or to get more information on its use, please send an email to the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit’s generic address at TPSGC.orreceptiondessoumissions-orbidreceiving.PWGSC@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca. Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the request for proposal process. Bidders should make the request to the Contract Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for standing offers process. The debriefing may be in writing, by telephone or in person. Suppliers are requested to provide any questions, concerns and required information, concerning the RFP, by e-mail, if they so desire.
