    Nature of Requirement:
    
    The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada on
    behalf of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and
    Development (DFATD) and other government departments, requires
    Regional Individual Standing Offer, (RISO), for marshalling,
    warehousing and related services which include, but not limited
    to receiving, unpacking, inspecting, sorting, racking, grouping,
    repackaging, crating, data recording, asset tagging, inventory
    control and shipment preparation for a wide variety of
    furniture, furnishings, appliances, office supplies, IT
    equipment, vehicles and other materiel. Provide local
    transportation services (pick-up and delivery) to all DFATD
    locations within the National Capital Region (NCR).
    
    Client Departments:
    
    Department of Foreign Affairs Trade and Development (DFATD) and
    Other Government Departments as listed in Schedules I, I.1, II
    and III of the Financial Administration Act, R.S.C. 1985, c.
    F-11. 
    
    The Period of Standing Offer:
    
    01 December 2014 to 30 November 2017 with an irrevocable option
    on the part of Canada to extend the period of the Standing Offer
    by up to two (2) additional option years. The call-up limitation
    for the standing offer will be $100,000.00 (GST included).
    
    Financial Security Deposits/ Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit
    
    If PWGSC notifies the Offeror that it has been issued a Standing
    Offer, the Offeror shall, at its sole expense, provide financial
    security to the Crown within seven (7) calendar days from such
    notification, in the form of an irrevocable standby letter of
    credit in the amount of $200,000.00 Canadian dollars
    
    "This document contains a Security Requirement, which the bidder
    must meet ON Bid Close."
    
    The Contractor must, at all times during the performance of the
    Contract, hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level
    of RELIABILITY STATUS as detailed in the Request for Standing
    Offer (RFSO) document and issued by the Canadian Industrial
    Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government
    Services Canada (PWGSC).
    
    Offerors must make sure that they fulfill all the mandatory
    technical criteria to be considered. Failure to do so will cause
    their Offer to be non-responsive.
    
    Trade Agreements: This requirement is subject to the Agreement
    on Internal Trade (AIT).
    
    An electronic version, in Microsoft EXCEL format, of the Basis
    of Payment Pricing/Rate Sheets are attached with the RFSO.
