    The purpose of this Solicitation is to contract for Marine Transportation and Related Services on behalf of Federal Government Departments and Agencies under the Financial Administration Act (FAA) Schedules I, I.1, II and III, for the receiving, loading, transportation by sea and delivery of cargo from/to the greater Montreal area and port of Churchill to/from "above high water mark" at sites in the Eastern Arctic.  
    
    The period of the Contract is from April 1st, 2017 to March 31st, 2020 inclusive with the option to extend for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, under the same terms and conditions.
    
    The Supplier must possess a minimum of five (5) years' experience in the provision of Arctic Sealift Operations in receiving, loading and in the transportation by sea and delivery of cargo to "above high water mark" sites.
    
    There is no security requirement associated with this solicitation. 
    
    This requirement is subject to the Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (CLCAs) as delivery points are situated in the following land claim agreements - Nunavut Land Claims Agreement, James Bay & Northern Quebec Agreement, Nunavik Inuit Land Claim Agreement.
